Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quoting tool requires only six pieces of information: gender, date of birth, general health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length. These responses suffice to display carrier rates. Your name, residential address, and detailed health information are collected only if you choose to submit an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates quoted by each carrier for the health class you chose. The carrier sets your final premium following underwriting, which may affirm, improve, or adjust your classification. This site makes no insurance offer and guarantees no rate.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and an application is generated from the specific quote you selected, then transitions to the carriers' encrypted platform. Pausing and resuming is permitted, and your signature is completed online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer varies by carrier, coverage amount, and your responses. Some carriers advertised as offering immediate coverage can render quick decisions for qualifying applicants; each quoted rate indicates the exam status—required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
Select a term that covers the period during which your family's financial security would hinge on your income: years with a mortgage, minor children, or business debt. Longer terms carry higher monthly payments but secure your rate for that extended period. Our quoting tool allows side-by-side comparison across 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year timeframes.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Our quoting tool collects no contact information; we neither sell nor disclose visitor data; and our site analytics operate without cookies. Review the privacy policy for a complete accounting of what information is gathered and by which parties.
